For the purpose of Georgia's Retrofit Program, and this web site, "FLEET" refers to a group of diesel powered vehicles of at least 14,001 pounds GVWR.
Transportation fleets are life blood of our country. Without them we wouldn't have many services that we take for granted. Diesel vehicles are a reliable and efficient ways to transport goods, haul waste and work on our power lines. However, diesel exhaust is harmful to those who work with diesel vehicles day in and day out. Retrofitting these vehicles reduces the risk of health related problems. Below are funding opportunities to help decrease you or your employees risk. In addition, you will be helping to improve air quality in Georgia as well, therefore improving the health of all Georgians.
